President Trump’s troubles are deepening, according to several recent opinion polls that show rising public support for impeachment.

Those polls include one released Wednesday from Fox News that sent shock waves through Washington. It indicated 51 percent of voters support impeaching Trump and removing him from office.

Trump pushed back at that poll vigorously on Thursday, as did his campaign. But the broader fear among Trump loyalists is that Republican elected officials will begin to follow the trends in public opinion — and peel away from the president.

It’s a legitimate worry, according to some moderate Republicans.

What trends are they talking about? Everybody with a functioning brain knows that these polls are dishonestly run to achieve the results they want.

Facts say Trump voters are glued to Trump  and his great performance while in office has locked in millions more new voters for 2020!

Thats the process - bombard consumers with bogus scandal news, report poor poll numbers, then pray the public bites.

The Fox News poll had 48% dimocrats and 40% REPUBLICANS!! 

The remaining were 'others'.

What trends are they talking about? Everybody with a functioning brain knows that these polls are dishonestly run to achieve the results they want.

I’m talking a democrat rout here.

Politicians have a few brain cells (and a stem!), and they don't believe or care about the "numbers," only that the public believes the numbers.

I don't think I've seen a day go by were there isn't some story about Republicans abandoning Trump.  Seems to me they should have run out of them months ago.
