McCain warns cackling ‘View’ hosts: ‘Laugh all you want, Trey Gowdy is bad news for Dems …’

Meghan McCain believes Trey Gowdy’s a force to be reckoned with, so laugh at him at your own peril.

‘The View” host Whoopi Goldberg was clearly agitated at the fact that the Trump administration is giving no oxygen to Democrats impeachment inquiry, and will not comply with their subpoenas.

“The White House says they will not cooperate with the House impeachment hearings,” Goldberg snipped, before having a good chuckle about Trey Gowdy joining Trump’s legal team.

“They’re reportedly tapped former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy as part of their legal team,” she said.

“Mr. Benghazi,” co-host Joy Behar added drawing collective laughter.

They're probably right to laugh.... since Gowdy made a great show but got zilch results.   Will this turn out to be yet another bad "staffing" decision by Trump...?

Gee ... do ya think? /s   Gowdy will turn out to be more of a problem and hindrance for Trump then he's worth, just like Giuliani.  Trump's downfall is the inability to surround himself with good and smart people.

To my knowledge, Gowdy has been involved in dozens of "investigations", with zero successful prosecutions.
I chuckled a little myself when I heard about this. He has serious name-recognition, but not so much in actual results.
