No date (other than supposedly during Kavanaugh's years at Yale), no victim named, no location, not witnesses, no contemporaneous reports ... there was nothing for the FBI to investigate.

OTOH, all those factors evidence an accusation designed to be not subject to fact-checking.

It’s more clear than ever that Brett Kavanaugh lied under oath. He should be impeached.

And Congress should review the failure of the Department of Justice to properly investigate the matter.

Cruz is so right.  As he points out, the Dem candidates predictably are wailing and gnashing their teeth over this latest "bombshell" just to whip up their base.  Thing is, they can cry all they want.  This is going nowhere.  The senate would have to convict, no?  Well, the Republicans still hold the majority, and I doubt they will want to beat this dead horse. 

No complaining victim, no proof, a third hand report that someone saw someone else allegedly being assaulted by Justice Kavanaugh -- this has even less credibility than that Ford chick's story, if that's possible.

What also seems predictable, is a weak GOP, that thus far, isn't threatening to pursude charges against Obama, Lynch, Comey etc. for bogus interference with the election process.

You have to consider Holder's remarks, about going after Trump aftter he leaves office, as a preemptive defense for Obama.

If McConnell had any balls, he would nip this in the bud right now by saying something like, enough is enough. We are not going to put Justice Kavanaugh through another witch hunt.   And if anyone doesn't like it, they can go pound sand.
