The killing of Israa Ghrayeb in Palestine has highlighted the prevalence of honour killings in the Arab world.

The killing of Palestinian makeup artist Israa Ghrayeb triggered uproar across the world, especially in the Middle East where honour killings are prevalent across much of the region.

Ghrayeb, 21, made international headlines this week after reports slowly seeped from Bethlehem, Palestine, revealing daunting details of her death in her home town.

The reports first emerged on Twitter on Friday evening and claimed the young Palestinian entrepreneur, who had amassed thousands of followers on Instagram for her makeup talents, had been killed by her male family members in what many described as an honour killing.....

This happened in Palestine BUT... her brother who helped do this deed per my understanding, is a legal resident in Canada. He must be visiting over there.
