He's not "like me". You always resort to labeling. That's intellectual laziness.
What I am doing by paraphrasing Max Boot is to describe the mindset of many voters, sick and tired of the reality show. These are dangerous times, because the conditions are being created for the Dems to exploit the public's weariness and install their pernicious radicalism.
Trump needs to be replaced as the nominee.
You don't think the Socialist "
Can You Top This?" show the Dems are putting on isn't "reality" TV?
Really, it's more like UNreality, especially for someone who grew up in the height of the Cold War.
Raw, unbridled, Marxist proposals from the purveyors of hate politics, and promises of free sh*t?
There are plenty of historical examples of how that works out, but the people writing the textbooks are too busy talking about how the 57 genders have been put upon by straight white males throughout history.
Yes, I'm personally (I can't speak for anyone else) sick of the horse manure the Media are shoveling, the constant blather about how this ridiculous proposal or that ridiculous proposal will solve all the problems of humanity and save the planet, when it will only tighten the chains of slavery on the masses another notch. The discussion in the press has gone so far afield and is so agenda driven that it isn't in the same county with reality, much less the same street, and there is a significant fraction of dumbed down America who are getting their news from Facebook or some other 24K source that just don't know any better, and haven't actually been challenged enough to give the matter serious thought.
I'm not one who voted for Trump last time. How he treats the RKBA in the rest of this term will determine whether or not I ever do vote for him. But slap yourself in the face, wake up, and realize that the alternative (and I HATE this argument) is a step down the road to something that Hillary was just the lead scout for.
Unless you can find a candidate who is so overwhelmingly attractive to the Right, including everyone from Constitutionalists and Evangelicals to the Middle that they are virtually guaranteed every vote from the GOP and a host of 3rd Party as well, this is going to be an election where it is better to not change horses in mid stream.
