Hillary is Lurking

Hillary Clinton, the Ma Barker of American politics, is still out hustling, still staying one step ahead of the law as she tries to weasel her way into the presidential sweepstakes. She says she isn’t running in 2020, but, as we know too well, truth is a fungible commodity to a Clinton.

The signs don’t look good. She just announced a fundraiser for the DNC at her Washington D.C. mansion with tickets as high as $50,000 (scraps for the homeless in the dumpster out back).

A couple of weekends ago she was at de Rothschild’s estate on Martha’s Vineyard -- go socialism! -- to celebrate Bill’s birthday, which included “quite an A-list cast of characters, including many Democratic party stalwarts.”

Recently she and Chelsea announced they were publishing a book in October about “gutsy women,” no doubt the tale of some courageous women in Arkansas who stood up to privilege and power even before the #MeToo movement. At least that’s my guess.

If Warren looks too wacky, jafo may just be right in all his predictions that Hillary will enter the race towards the end of the year...

Worked so well for Wesley Clark, Fred Thompson and Rick Perry.  *****rollingeyes*****

It's about as stupid of an idea of begging Roy Moore to run again in Alabama, or Todd Akin in Missouri. Even the Democrats know she cannot win, and especially can't win a majority. She has no window. She has no base of support.

Presumably, Hillary won the popular vote in 2016.  But I think the reality is a good chunk of Democrats don't like her.  A friend of mine was a Bernie supporter, but when he lost, she did not vote for Hillary.  "Can't stand that *bleep*," she said.  I think my friend wrote in Bernie for the general election.  Hillary just rubs people the wrong way. 

Given  her health, she would be a fool to run again.  Just stay home, Hillary.  Play with your grandchildren.  Hold fundraisers.  Groom your kid for a political career.  But give up running for president yourself.  You aren't wanted.

The Dem race looks like Warren's to lose.  That sets up Trumpism vs. Socialism,  and creates the conditions for a third party bid by a self-financed centrist.

Hillary is the Kardashian candidate. She is famous for being famous but not for anything that she has actually done. Most of her fame came because she married Bill. And from all indications, even he does not support her to run for President for the third time. I think Bill has reached the age where enough is enough. But Hillary is so obsessed to get what is hers, to get what is owed to her, if there is any possible way she can run, she will run.

If she does run as a late entry, it will not be like it was in 2016. It will be awkward as hell for the media, for other Dems in the race, and for the DNC. It would be borderline pathetic.

Some people in the Rat Party certainly don't want her running.  She'll suck every molecule of oxygen out of the Primaries.  Your tagging her "the Kardashian" candidate is apt, she's famous for being famous and nothing else.
