All y'all have never slaughtered anything, right?
That was the impression I got.
In my house all are made aware that you don't waste meat. Some critter died to provide that, have some respect.
But the process can be messy, and doesn't always go smoothly, despite attempts to keep it quick and humane.
Same with hunting, and in either case a quick, clean kill keeps the meat from being charged with chemicals that make it 'gamey' tasting.
The rest is just processing, and while that can be messy, it is just part of the job.
