After Trump 'Pocahontas' taunts, Elizabeth Warren lays out Native American agenda

Elizabeth Warren, mocked by President Trump for her weak claims to Native American ancestry, has rolled out her plan to shore up the federal government's commitment to tribal nations and indigenous peoples.
"Washington is failing Native communities, and it's time to fulfill our obligations to Tribal Nations. Today I’m announcing ideas to ensure that tribal sovereignty and our trust and treaty obligations are binding legal and moral principles — not just slogans," the senator from Massachusetts and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate tweeted Friday while announcing her platform.
