FBI To Take Complete Control of El Paso Walmart Shooting Investigation

By late Saturday, the FBI was jockeying to take complete control over the investigation of the El Paso Walmart shooting, according to federal law enforcement sources.

It was expected El Paso Police and Texas officials would cede control of the probe to the FBI by Sunday, sources said. El Paso Police and Texas officials would continue to assist the FBI with the homicide portions of the investigations, according to insiders.

I'm going to guess it has to do with federal charges this punk will face.  And that would be a good thing because, unlike in state court, his lawyer will have a much more difficult time trying to plead some idiot excuse like the perp had a bad childhood or some such to get his client a life sentence or mental health confinement.  The feds mean business when they prosecute and it's much more likely this punk will be convicted and executed.

Why so little information about the killer in Vegas (58 gun downed in Oct 2017?) It almost seems like that investigation got dropped by law enforcement and the media...am I wrong? Are you satisfied you got enough information about him or does it seem to have been dropped?
