The Dayton, Ohio shooter who killed nine people, including his own sister, has been identified as 24-year-old Connor Betts, from Bellbrook, Ohio.

The deceased gunman, armed with a .223-caliber high-capacity rifle and a 100-round drum magazine, was killed by police, who engaged him in under a minute. On his social media profile, Betts described himself as a pro-Satan leftist who supported Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) for president, according to Heavy.com.

..Betts was reportedly accompanied to the scene by his sister and a companion, who was also shot and survived. Betts was dressed all in black, wearing body armor and a mask when he opened fire outside a Dayton bar around 1 a.m., killing 9 people and wounding at least 27 others — all in less than a minute....

Does this mean they were with him from the start?  They knew he was coming here with body armor and weapons?

Stirring video of Dayton police shooting and killing the perpetrator of Dayton's Sunday morning massacre just feet away from a packed bar has been released.

The surveillance footage shows dozen of patrons rushing toward the bar as Connor Betts, the 24-year-old shooter, approaches the door before being shot at and downed by at least a half a dozen responding police officers.

Betts killed nine people including his sister in the shooting and injured at least two dozen more, but the quick response from officers was able to end the shooting in 30 seconds.

"We will never know how many lives were saved," Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said during a Sunday press conference. "The police department and the mayor gave me, my wife and I, the tour. The assailant was obviously very, very close to being able to kill dozens and dozens more people."

Now, the Daily Mail was saying, not only was the gun firing mad man stopped within a minute but stopped even after 30 seconds, it could have been so much worse.

Does this mean they were with him from the start?  They knew he was coming here with body armor and weapons?

The sister was killed by Betts before he went on his rampage.  The friend was shoot beforehand, too, but apparently survived.

From what I heard the Dayton Police Chief say at the 4PM Eastern Presser yesterday:
- the 3 of them arrived in the same (his father's) car
- the shooter separated from his sister and other companion shortly after arriving at the downtown scene
- during the time they were separated, the shooter donned his body armor and picked up his rifle
- sister and companion were not the first people shot...  one other person was shot in an adjoining alley before the shooter moved out onto 5th Street...
- sister and companion were amongst those shot out on 5th Street....  where the shooter was quickly taken down by police  (sister among the 8 killed on 5th Street, companion shot but not killed, has been interviewed at hospital, will be interviewed further)
- reporter asked Chief if the body armor and weapons were transported in the vehicle....  he hesitated....  then said that he didn't have all of that information processed for release at this time...  (beyond the rifle the shooter used, a shot gun was found in the trunk of the car)

(My assumption was that the two weapons and vest were in the trunk of the car.)

The Chief was asked about that in the above referenced presser and he said that there is no basis to that rumor....

Let me see if I can find a video of it, it was very well done....  impressive presentation by the Chief.
