Democrats point to Trump rhetoric on immigration in wake of two mass shootings
By Zack Budryk - 08/04/19 02:00 PM EDT

Congressional Democrats and 2020 presidential hopefuls on Sunday sought to tie President Trump's rhetoric on immigration to a massacre at a store in a Texas border city that is a shopping destination for Hispanic Americans and Mexicans.

The mass shooting at an El Paso, Texas, Walmart Saturday killed 20 people and left 26 others wounded. It came about 13 hours before a second mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio, left nine people dead and 27 wounded.

Patrick Wood Crusius, 21, the accused gunman in the El Paso shooting is the purported author of a racist, anti-immigrant manifesto. Officials said Sunday they were treating massacre as a case of domestic terrorism and exploring federal hate crime charges.

It absolutely is a social issue. Why/how have we somehow “trained” so many psychologically weak young men to see gun violence as the way of dealing with perceived slights?

  • I don't believe in Trump anymore, he's an illusion

Some Blacks and Browns, much more than Whites, have always reacted with violence to perceived slights, maybe some White boys are just catching up. Has anyone wondered what all of the lefts attacks on White males may have to do with the violence?
