California Gov. Gavin Newsom says it is inexplicable that a weapon “of godd—ned mass destruction” was used over the weekend during the Gilroy Garlic Festival mass shooting.

The Democrat told a Santa Clara audience that a semi-automatic rifle that Santino William Legan, 19, used to kill three and wound 12 others exists in the U.S., in large part, because of “completely bankrupt” Republican lawmakers.

“You can’t put borders up, speaking of borders, to a neighboring state where you can buy this damn stuff legally,” he said Monday at a local medical center, the Los Angeles Times reported. “How in the hell is that possible? I have no problem with the 2nd Amendment, you have a right to bear arms but not weapons of godd—ned mass destruction.”

Oh, Gaven, my man -  sort of.  That southern border with Mejico certainly presents fewer problems than open borders between states which is fortunate.  Because no weapons, drugs, criminals, murderers, or rapists ever come across they don't become a problem for the state, like an occasional gun from Arizona.

Perhaps the fault lies ultimately with one of your state’s principal products: violent movies that normalize the use of violence to avenge imagined internal, subjective slights.  Advertising works, Gov. Ummmmmm ... is Governor Nuisance unaware of the the agricultural inspection stations already on major highways into California? The facilities are there, but the state government hasn't made use of them for this purpose. But does Governor Nuisance really think it's realistic to stop and inspect every vehicle - including in trunks under the false-floor over the spare tire?

So-called "gun control" laws just disarm law-abiding people. Criminals intent on murder or armed robbery will get their guns if that is their chosen weapon. I could say it more elaborately, but "gun crime" is a people problem, not a gun problem.

Seems to me like Portland is already a goner,and Washington state is clinging to the ledge. Which is only natural as the loons that destroyed California don't even want to live there anymore,so they moved to Oregon and Washington State first.  They are now so bleeped up these same leftist loons have been moving further east into Colorado and points north.
