CNN, sponsor of the second debate taking place Tuesday night and Wednesday night in Detroit, has plans to keep such a 'food fight' from happening again.
'A candidate who consistently interrupts will have his or her time reduced,' CNN announced in its rules for the show down.
The network also offered other rules to correct for confusion that came out of the first meeting of the candidates.
'There will be no show of hands or one-word, down-the-line questions,' the network announced of the debate it's hosting.
In the first debate, Harris had to clarify her answer to a question on whether candidates favored getting rid of private insurance. She said she was answering for herself personally and not for all Americans.
Additionally, CNN said the microphones for all the candidates will be on the entire time they are on stage.
At the last debate, Andrew Yang accused NBC of turning his mic off, a change that network disputed.
