Joe Biden Finally Admits That Donald Trump Won 2016 Election “Fair and Square”
Steven Ahle Steven Ahle July 26, 2019

Joe Biden is going out of his way to position himself as part of the sane division of the Democratic party.

He has taken a stand against the Green New Deal and Medicare for all and now, he is actually admitting that Donald Trump won the presidency fair and square and the Russians did not win it for him. Biden is also almost the only Democratic candidate not to promote ending the Electoral College. That proves that Biden is a realist

In order to end the electoral college, it would require a 67% majority in both the House and the Senate and then the president would have to sign off on it and then be ratified by at least 34 states. That would never happen.

From Breitbart News

Former Vice President Joe Biden admitted that President Donald Trump won the 2016 election “fair and square” through the Electoral College.

Maybe he's vaguely trying to nudge the Dems into the direction of long out of sight sanity. I'm sure the Dems' Crazy-Wing Progs will reward him for this, :smokin: .
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Biden (and Sanders) should be sending Trump thank you bouquets. A Trump loss would have been the final nails in their political coffins.

I could be wrong, but doesn't the president have absolutely no place in the Constitutional amendment process...?

You are correct. The President does not have a constitutional role in the amendment process.

In addition to being wrong about the President as other pointed out, the states approval requires 3/4th, not 2/3rds.

The author should try learning about the process before writing about it.

Biden is in a bad position within his own party.  The radicals are taking over and he doesn't know if he should play to the "progressives" (as he did recently on abortion) or stay in a more moderate mode.

There are some 20 folks running for the Democratic nomination, approximately 17 of whom are hyperventilating progressive crazies.   I think Biden would be well-advised to  unapologetically   head for the center,  and call out the crazies for moving the party irresponsibly to the left of both Clinton and Obama.

Unfortunately, many career politicians try to gauge from which way the wind blows and go from there.  They don't really commit to any set ideology, but rather, try to be all things to all people.

The party definitely has been moving left and a number of Biden's comrades are taking up the liberal commie mantel because they believe that is where the party is headed -- they embrace commie ideology because many of them were indoctrinated in it in public schools.  Biden is trying to find out whether a more moderate Democrat will be embraced by the majority of the voters.  If his polls indicate that voters see him as the "old dude" and his platform isn't "with it," look for Biden to move even further left.

I agree with you on this.  If Biden is blowing it, it's by trying to kowtow to the crazies.  He's giving up his only edge.

Exactly.   Biden's appeal is that he can focus the race on replacing Trump with a palatable alternative.   Making the election a referendum on socialism and identity-politics cultural extremism won't go well for the Dems.
