Pressley to introduce bill to end death penalty after DOJ decision

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) will introduce a bill to abolish the death penalty after the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Thursday that it will resume capital punishment for the first time in nearly two decades.

The bill seeks to “prohibit the use of the death penalty for any violation of federal law, and for other purposes.” It also calls for any person sentenced to death prior to law's enactment to be resentenced.

“The death penalty has no place in a just society,” Pressley tweeted, along with an image of the legislation.

Typical Liberal mindset...perfectly fine to kill a human before they are born...not ok to kill them after they are born grew up became a criminal killed people and is now paying the price for their actions.

Then we run the ads describing the horrible things those criminals did, and how the Democrats want to save them.

Needless to say this shall take place right after Sunday services and before a hearty midday meal then to be followed by and adult beverage.  Now the last should be partaken out of the view of the women folk and youngsters, lest we set a bad example and corrupt their morals.

Well, at least the guy is trying to go by the proper process. That the death penalty may be used by government is recognized by the 5th and 14th Amendments, but the USC does not mandate that the death penalty be used.

Beyon that, it should be very entertaining watching Dems and other libs explaining why the five monsters Barr plans to execute should receive lifetime free room and board paid by taxpayers.
