YOU..support ANTI-AMERICANS?  4 COMMUNISTS?  TWO, WHO SUPPORT THE KORAN & SHARIA LAW?  YOU ARE LOST.

Once again, you come on this forum on the attack against those who don't bow down to your master.

@Rivergirl said what many rational, moral Conservatives are saying.

These words are a loss for Trump, and a loss for America in both the short and long run.

As for America's soul........... I believe it was finally lost when morality and character were no longer requirements for EITHER party in their Presidential nominee.

But it began long before that.  We're just seeing the full blown disease before our eyes in the 21st century.

@LegalAmerican
@Rivergirl

Four Republicans voted to rebuke the President for his racism.  Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Fred Upton of Michigan, Will Hurd of Texas and Susan Brooks of Indiana...as did Justin Amash.  LA would have you believe they just decided to side with Anti-Americans over our righteous, innocent, and certainly NOT sowing the divisive seeds of xenophobia President.  More contemptible LA has now besmirched Rivergirl being on the Anti-American side.

Nov 2020 is a long ways away but the GOP has turned very ugly.  I'm long past supporting them, and I'm now asking myself how ugly I'm willing to lazily do nothing more than talk.  If I find myself voting next year it will be becuse you helped motivate me @LegalAmerican because I want to send a message that what you view as Anti-American is my refusal to concede that the America I love is gone.

Newsflash for you and others here that are hating on the GOP.  The GOP is all we have.  If the Democrats win next year.... the Democrats who now represent the extreme radical leftists (Hint:  Communists) that seek to either destroy America from within or from without, whichever comes first.... then the America that we all loved will be gone.  Dispute that.... if you can.
No quarter given to the enemy within...ever.

If the GOP is all we have, then we have nothing.  It stands for nothing.  It stands up to no one.  It is weak and flaccid.

There is no place for a large group of us in the Trump GOPe.

(And the country we all loved is already gone).

Then just sit back, don't bother to vote, don't make an effort, musiclady.   Is that your plan?

Yeah, the GOP ain't what it should be, but it IS all we have right now.  This (in this thread) is the kind of talk that leads to handing the reigns of our country right over (and back) to the gdamned commie enemies within (the Democrats) that almost destroyed us in 2008-2015.   If that's what you're advocating, then come on out and say so.  It's an either/or scenario.  There is no "in between".

Truth to tell,it was the spinless alleged Republicans that got us to where we are. You can't really blame the Dims for being Dim. That's like blaming a snake for being poisonous. You blame the guy that brought the snake into the house.

And, in fact, the GOP will NEVER be what it should be.  An creation of man will always be imperfect.  People can wait around for the perfect vessel, but it ain't gonna happen in the here and now.

But how fricking stupid would you have to be.... to allow the snakes to take over the house (or in this case, the entire country).   They're already halfway there.... so I see voting GOP next year as our ONLY chance to stave off their takeover.  I respectfully ask....

so are you "also" advocating for not voting for the GOP next year... and just letting the snakes "have at it"?   If so... W T F ???

Whats really ironic to me about this endless garment rending concerning the lost GOP (BTW it has been for decades now although the bellowing seems to have gotten much louder over the past two years) is there are a couple of keys areas I finally see some positive movement. Go figger.

Being a fiscal conservative, I see a whole helluva lot wrong with the GOP and/or with Trump.  But I see this next election as a "have no choice" at this point in our impending demise.  If the rats get back in power... we are toast, done, finished as a free nation.  Their veils and masks are off and their ugly commie colors are shining through, finally.  Anyone that doesn't see that, realize it or face it is (and I'm being nice here) too stupid for words.

No doubt some sincerely believe they are being true to some personal morality. They are misguided.

Others, the George Will establishment types, are self interested and are just being dishonest. A pox on them.

And the RL is counting on both of these types (as you mentioned above) to help them seize power next year.  I, for one, will not be contributing to that effort of theirs.  I'll hold my nose and vote GOP.

Your first question is ridiculous.  It's based on the premise that not voting for the (useless) GOPe is "doing nothing."

And that is not correct.

As for blaming people who will not support the corrupt GOPe as being responsible for what the vile left has done and will continue doing, that is beyond the pale.

And if you think standing strong for morality and conservatism is "in between," I will strongly disagree.

In my view, it is Trump and his GOPe, who are "in between" in the no-man's land between the radical left and where we OUGHT to be as Constitutional, moral and fiscal Conservatives.

But I will not lower myself to accuse you, when you vote for Trump, as voting for the further destruction of the country as you have done to me.

I know you are where you are because you love this country and have come to the conclusion that voting for the "in between" is what's best.

Have the decency to give the same credit to me  because I too have come to the long thought out conclusion that my view is what is best and most patriotic.  Leave out the vile accusations.

Thank you.

Aren't they all, though?
Every single election for the last 50 years was the one that mattered most, wherein one must vote against the evil which would otherwise come. So pull the big red rhinestone lever.

That is by far and away the means by which the lesser evil advances, and make no mistake, lesser evil is what has brought us right here - Not the evil inherent in socialism/communism, but rather, that which allows it to grow... The lack of opposition. The fear of communism is what has filled the Republican party with global socialists. The fear based vote is what causes one not to stand upon what one believes.

And if !YOU! will not stand for what you believe, who do you suppose will?
