Can anyone imagine any of us fleeing from the United States to go to Russia, China, Mexico, or Somalia, and immediately we start preaching to the government and the people there how horrible and awful they are, and how they should be more like the United States.

If your body was ever found, which is unlikely, it is doubtful that they would send you home or even give you a proper funeral. The first thing Liberal foreigners learn when they arrive in America is how to leverage our hard fought freedom against us. They use our freedom and tolerance which is the very thing they fled to, against us to try to destroy us with our own kindness.

Over the years I've learned to trust Trump's strategy. I think he's firing up his supporters.

Counter-intuitively, his strategy works.

I never liked Trump's twitter behavior, but you cannot argue with his success record. Compare him to Romney who "plays it safe" and is a media kiss ass.

Congresswomen clap back after Trump tells them to 'go back' to their home countries
by Mike Brest
 | July 14, 2019 01:52 PM

Four prominent progressive congresswomen pushed back against President Trump's suggestion Sunday morning that they should "go back" to their home countries.

Trump's tweet was apparently directed at Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, though only Omar was born outside of the country. Her family escaped to the United States in 1992 after having fled a civil war in Somalia.

"Mr. President, As Members of Congress, the only country we swear an oath to is the United States. Which is why we are fighting to protect it from the worst, most corrupt and inept president we have ever seen," Omar tweeted. "You are stoking white nationalism bc you are angry that people like us are serving in Congress and fighting against your hate-filled agenda. 'America's answer to the intolerant man is diversity, the very diversity which our heritage of religious freedom has inspired.' -RFK."

Crap, the "four prominent congresswomen" referred to in the above excerpt are the four horsewomen of the apocalypse.   *****rollingeyes*****

I'm compelled to quote Heels up Harris and remind these four that this is a "conversation we need to have".  We will not be silenced.

Sometimes it's better to be silent than to say stuff that's stupid.   The Dems were having a great time battling amongst themselves, with even the mainstream media highlighting their catfight.   But now Trump steps in and tweets his garbage that prompts all the Dems to unite under the banner of decrying his "racism".  Anyone think the next few news cycles are going to be about Dem infighting rather than outrage at Trump?

Kasich calling on Republicans?  More like Kasich calling on RINO's and DEMS.

I thought maybe the President's Twits were "bad," and then I saw Kasich weigh in.  Hat tip to the son-of-a-Mailman.  He's a good barometer.

Trump's a fool,  and I'm sick and tired of him being our fool.

Well, I'm sorry, but the true racism here is coming from the left for their utter and complete failures to do something at the border. Women and children are being repeatedly sexually assaulted on the way here and it was recently reported that 19 people have died in their attempt.  Problems could greatly be alleviated if the liberal DEMS would assist with security the border and warning these people ahead of time that the journey here is not without great risk and that there is NO guarantee of asylum and ILLEGAL entry is forbidden.  No they'd rather sit and make up b.s. stories about the horrendous treatment these people are receiving from the U.S.A.  Which doesn't really make sense as obviously if things were so horrendous the words would have gotten back to various different countries by now and the influx would have slowed.

I am sick to death of the liberal left placing the entire blame on this President and the GOP when they sit back and do nothing but accuse instead of helping the situation. Even more sickening are those that consider themselves conservative or Republican and side with the leftists.

Yes, agreed, the President's response may have been inappropriate to a degree, but so are the accusations coming from the very people his comment was directed at.  IF they truly loved this country and wanted to do what is in this country's best interest they would do everything to secure our borders and protect LEGAL citizens and do something about the crime and drug infected liberal cities!

BTW, Ilhan Omar was born in Mogadishu and sought asylum in 1995 and became a citizen in 2005.  14 years she's been a U.S. citizen, she's a sitting Congresswoman, but yet she has to wear the head garb of a Muslim??  Where is her allegiance to this country? DEM or REP where is here allegiance to this President?  As a matter of fact that goes for ALL of the 535 members of Congress.  Party or not, he IS THEIR President!

Has she been to the border??  Does she feel that ALL should be granted asylum as she was??  Sorry, I just don't see her having this country's best interest at heart.

Quote
What @realDonaldTrump said about Democrat women in Congress is deplorable and beneath the dignity of the office," Kasich, who ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016, tweeted.

"We all, including Republicans, need to speak out against these kinds of comments that do nothing more than divide us and create deep animosity — maybe even hatred," he added.

"At the base of America is a Jewish and Christian tradition that says that we must realize that we are all brothers and sisters," he tweeted in a subsequent post. "Rhetoric like the President’s works against that foundation of our country and all that we teach our children."

Can't say I see anything controversial about what Kasich says.   It IS well past time for Republicans to stand up and criticize the President when it is warranted.    I think this is one of those times.   Consider it constructive criticism -  don't tweet without thinking first.   And don't step in and ruin a political narrative that is running in your favor by spouting crapola that will turn the narrative from Dem in-fighting to unity over the "racism" of your verbal diarrhea.

Yes, "At the base of America is a Jewish and Christian tradition that says that we must realize that we are all brothers and sisters" ... and that should also go for those Muslims who have been granted asylum, and citizenship, and especially those who are seated in the halls of Congress.

No that's not what I'm saying.   The President can and should fight back, but not by shooting himself in the foot and letting the Dems get away with changing the narrative.   Sometimes when your opponent is screwing up,  the best thing to do is shut up and let the self-immolation continue.   But Trump's now managed to get the Pelosi-vs.-the Squad stories out of the news cycle.   Instead he's given the Dems, and even some Republicans,  ammunition to defend those witches while branding Trump as "racist".

Trump's a fool,  and I'm sick and tired of him being our fool.

I'd have more respect for your post if you had said you do not agree with the President's strategy … because a strategy is what this is all about.  The President is holding a rally in NC on Wednesday.  Between then and now this will percolate.  Watch what the President says about this …  and how the crowd reacts to it.   The President has his finger on the pulse of the American people called "Republican" and "Independent".  Strategery at its best.

And, you have the right to call the President a "fool"  --- even though this actually makes *you* look foolish.  A businessman who has triumphed over business reversals to become a billionaire and create an international conglomerate;  --- a billionaire whose first political campaign at age 70 won him the Presidency of the United States ---is certainly no fool.

It helps to turn the page of previous republican political campaigns @Jazzhead because the President is in this to actually win it.
