Earliest modern human found outside Africa
« on: July 11, 2019, 10:30:17 am »
BBC 10 July 2019

A skull unearthed in Greece has been dated to 210,000 years ago, at a time when Europe was occupied by the Neanderthals.

The sensational discovery adds to evidence of an earlier migration of people from Africa that left no trace in the DNA of people alive today.

The findings are published in the journal Nature.

Researchers uncovered two significant fossils in Apidima Cave in Greece in the 1970s.

One was very distorted and the other incomplete, however, and it took computed tomography scanning and uranium-series dating to unravel their secrets.

@Elderberry

WHAT proof of that brain fart is the author going to present to prove they originated in Africa,and then migrated to Europe?

Not sure what you're asking, Pete.  There is a lot of proof.

@Sanguine

There is no proof at all. All they have proof of is that the oldest human remains THEY HAVE FOUND SO FAR were in Africa.

Take a look at a globe and notice how much water there is compared to how much land there is. Now,consider that the water is not in the same places it used to be.

I think we're not talking about the same things.  Moving on now.

@Sanguine

I am talking about "Original Man".

You seem to have been talking about "oldest human remains found so far".
