Former DNC Deputy Chair Ellison deletes tweet praising Antifa following brutal attack on Ngo: ‘Gone, but not forgotten’

While it was once en vogue for leftists to praise Antifa as some kind of righteous liberal group taking to the streets, it’s now not so much of a good look following a brutal assault on conservative writer Andy Ngo in Portland, Oregon over the weekend.
While it wasn’t the first assault on a journalist by members of the supposedly “anti-fascist†group, it is perhaps the most viral of their attacks. Even liberals like CNN’s Jake Tapper and Brian Stelter have called out the group for the assault.
Keith Ellison, who was once the Deputy Chair of the Democratic National Committee, responded to the attack by quietly digging into his old tweets and deleting one where he seemed to be praising the group.
