California Sen. Kamala Harris is one of the leading contenders for the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination.

She has been one of the main proponents of giving reparations to the descendants of slaves with taxpayer funds.

What makes this story, which was originally reported in March, more poignant now is that she has given voters the impression that she is African-American.

But now a deep, dark secret from her family’s past could come back to haunt her platform and her campaign.

And it comes at the hands of Harris’ father who has again become a thorn in the side of his own daughter’s ambitions.

“My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town) and to my maternal grandmother Miss Iris (née Iris Finegan, farmer and educator, from Aenon Town and Inverness, ancestry unknown to me),” her dad, David J. Harris said in an op ed in Jamaica Global Online.

“The Harris name comes from my paternal grandfather Joseph Alexander Harris, land-owner and agricultural ‘produce’ exporter (mostly pimento or all-spice), who died in 1939 one year after I was born and is buried in the church yard of the magnificent Anglican Church which Hamilton Brown built in Brown’s Town (and where, as a child, I learned the catechism, was baptized and confirmed, and served as an acolyte),” he said...

If Harris’ wants to pay reparation to the descendants of slaves she has a prime opportunity to put her own cash where her mouth is.

She can start by writing checks to the descendants of the Jamaican slaves that her family owned and worked on their own plantations.

There were many Black slave owners, and there are still many Black slave owners today in Africa and the Middle East. Americans have been propagandized with the incredibly stupid idea that slavery is exclusively a White thing. This could not be farther from the truth. There are slave owners today, right now, in South America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Of all the slavery which has happened all over the world all throughout history even unto today, only stupid White American Liberals and race pimping Blacks are obsessed with what they are calling 'reparations' (which is really just a way to buy votes and to keep minorities on the Democrat plantation).

If these people cared anything at all about 'real slavery' today, not 150 years ago, but today right now, they would be working to end modern day slavery in Africa and all over the world. But they will never do this. "Real actual current slavery" is primarily carried out by Blacks and Muslims. This does not fit the American Left's Liberal agenda. They are not interested in solving real ongoing suffering. They would rather obsess on a historical fantasy from hundreds of years ago.

Anthony Johnson (b. c. 1600 – d. 1670) was a black Angolan who achieved freedom in the early 17th-century Colony of Virginia after serving his term of indenture. He became one of the first property owners and slaveholders of African birth there.

He was the first black indentured servant, the first free black, and the first to establish the first black community, first black landowner, first black slave owner, and the first person based on his court case to establish slavery legally in North America. One could argue that he was the founder of slavery in Virginia.

In 1654, he brought a case before Virginia courts in which he contested a suit launched by one of his indentured servants, a Negro who adopted the name of John Casor.

Johnson won the suit and retained Casor as his servant for life.

This officially made Johnson the first legal slave owner in the British colonies that would eventually become the United States.
