Beto's new conspiracy theory on immigration emerges as candidate slips in polls
Andrew West Andrew West June 27, 2019

Beto O'Rourke has some work to do, but it looks as though the candidate is looking to take a conspiratorial shortcut instead.

During his attempt to unseat Senator Ted Cruz back in 2018, Beto O'Rourke was no stranger to political stunts.  The young candidate was seen on several occasions skateboarding throughout the social media landscape, in an effort to appear "hip" or "cool".

In the run-up to 2020, O'Rourke has continued this trend, using his first debate appearance to engage in a little "hispandering", answering questions both in English and in Spanish - a move blasted by late night talk show hosts just hours after his performance.
