Boxed-in Pelosi calls for 'immediate conference' with Trump, GOP on border bill

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, under pressure to approve funding for the border crisis this week, sent a memo to rank-and-file Democrats calling for the Senate, President Trump, and House lawmakers to negotiate on a border funding deal.

“We are calling upon the Trump administration and the Senate to engage in an immediate conference to do the best we can for the children before we leave for the 4th of July,” Pelosi wrote to Democrats Thursday.

Pelosi’s announcement comes moments after the House Rules Committee approved a border funding bill that combines a bipartisan Senate measure with progressive provisions that were part of a measure House Democrats passed on Tuesday.

The House will vote later today on the second border measure the Rules Committee approved Thursday morning, a Democratic aide confirmed.

Golly, is Pelosi finally going to do something for the good of American children with this bill?

Why of course!  They will be made to learn Spanish and assimilate to Spanish and Islamic culture which will prepare them for the future demise of our country and may also enable them to compete for future jobs taken by the influx of children that will be given a free ride.

Hopefully, they will also qualify for food stamps when their parents can no longer afford to put food on the table because they'll be highly taxed in order to afford all the illegals coming in.
