Mojo was disappointed in 2008 when Shrillery wasn't the candidate, because he was counting on her making him her running mate. He appointed himself Senator and found, to his dismay, that no one in D.C. cared what he had to say. The whole time he's been a Senator, he's tried to portray himself as something he isn't, namely, principaled. Anyone who thought he was conservative was very much fooled. He stands for nothing. Except maybe another bottle of Jack.
Now he wants to run home to W.Va. and run for governor. After his last sting as governor, the state found itself in 49th or 50th place (thanks, Mississippi!) in every category of health, economics, education and overall wellbeing. Yeah, that's what we need.
