A Russian destroyer almost collided with a US guided missile cruiser in the Philippine Sea in an incident Washington has described as "unsafe and unprofessional".


The Russian vessel came to within 30 metres of the USS Chancellorsville, according to US Seventh Fleet spokesman Commander Clayton Doss.

Some places are making a big deal of this incident. I do see some videos have come out.

I think video 2 here is more helpful, this must be the Russian ship one sees and indeed, it was close.
