Good morning! With the legislative session in the rearview mirror, many folks are asking, "What's coming up next?" Glad you asked!

Grab your calendar; here is today's dates-focused Texas Minute.

    June 6, 2018: Release of the 2019 Fiscal Responsibility Index of the Texas Legislature! Active donors will receive their lawmakers’ ratings a day early.
       
    June 8, 2019: Municipal run-off elections.
     
    September 1, 2019: By default, many of the laws adopted during the session will go into effect – including the new state budget.
     
    November 5, 2019: Statewide balloting on Constitutional Amendments
       Highlight: Ban on a state income tax!
     
    December 7, 2019: The Conservative Leaders Gala!

    Join us in honoring the grassroots leaders who are fighting for a stronger Texas. This must-attend statewide event will be held in the Metroplex. Save the date!
     
    December 9, 2019: Filing deadline for major party candidates to be on the 2020 primary ballot.
     
    March 3, 2020: Primary election day.
