Assad's militia withdraw from Al-Bokamal crossing after American threats

The militias linked to the Assad regime have evacuated their points at the border crossing with Iraq after US and Israeli threats to Iranian militias controlling the crossing and refusing to withdraw from it.

According to informed sources from Deir al-Zour, militias associated with the Assad regime were forced to withdraw from the Al-Bokamal area under Russian directives, while the Iranian militias remained alone in the border area, refusing to withdraw so far.

The sources said that the Iranian militias receive letters of continuous threat by the United States and the Israeli occupation authorities, which are demanding the evacuation of the crossing or else the militias will be bombed.
