After a national tragedy like the California synagogue shooting, Americans traditionally come together to offer prayers, support and anything else they can to those affected.
Some, however, use it as an excuse to push an agenda.
Soon after last week’s deadly shooting at the Chabad of Poway synagogue near San Diego, CNN was quick to seemingly turn the tragedy against President Donald Trump.
