Trump approval rating hits new high in CNN poll

President Trump’s approval rating reached its highest level since April 2017 in a new CNN poll released Wednesday.
The poll found 43% approved of the way Trump is handling his job as president. The new tally is one point lower than his 44% approval rating a year ago. Those who approve strongly of the way Trump is handling his job hit an all-time high of 35% in the CNN poll.
However, his approval rating is still mostly negative, with 52% disapproving of the job he’s doing.
