Pompeo: Russia talked Maduro out of leaving Venezuela

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Tuesday that Russia persuaded beleaguered Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro to stay in the country amid an apparent coup attempt.

“We’ve watched throughout the day, it's been a long time since anyone's seen Maduro,” Pompeo said on CNN. “He had an airplane on the tarmac, he was ready to leave this morning as we understand it and the Russians indicated he should stay.”

I just watched Pompeo, anyway,  what Pompeo, Bolton and others seem to emphasize is the well-being of Juan Guiado.

So, to trigger some sort of action by the US, heaven forbid, would be per what these people say, would be to harm the well-being of Juan Guiado:
