Sarah Sanders Slams April Ryan: She’s ‘Not Taken Seriously’

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded to April Ryan calling for her to have her ‘head lopped off,’ claiming the CNN reporter’s comments show why she “is not taken seriously.â€
Ryan has embarked on an unhinged tirade ever since the Mueller report showed Sanders had made a “slip of the tongue … in the heat of the moment†when discussing rank-and-file agents expressing dismay at former director James Comey’s leadership.
Sanders told reporters that “countless†agents had lost confidence in Comey, a claim she still holds to be true.
“Look, I acknowledged that I had a slip of the tongue when I used the word ‘countless,’ but it’s not untrue,†Sanders said on Fox News. “And certainly, you just echoed exactly the sentiment and the point I was making, [which] is that a number of both current and former FBI agents agreed with the president.â€
