There is a big difference between "bravery" and doing something that defies common sense.
It makes no sense for a good-intentioned white person to voluntarily go into an environment such as the one this woman entered. The dangers are too great to expose one's self to the risk, regardless of the intentions.
Let the Africans find the solutions to their problems.... themselves.
