Racism Is Everywhere…Is It, Really?

This blog is about how lack of empathy can lead to charges of racism; and how the perception that racism is pervasive can lead to demands for remedies worse than the disease they are supposed to cure.

A Chronicle of Higher Education article, written by Marcia Chatelain, an African-American curricular activist and associate professor of history at Georgetown University, claims that racism is found almost everywhere, that limiting academic speech is a necessary part of a cure and “That college campuses are complicit in encouraging and emboldening budding white nationalists.”

Nobody is more racist than the American Left. Their screeds against White Christians are not far removed from the rhetoric in Germany circa 1930s.

Also their incessant demands that Black people in particular get special academic dispensation, special employment consideration, special privileges and benefits, emphasizes that the Left believes that Black Americans are unable to compete fairly with other American minorities. The Left treats 'Blackness' as if it is some kind of disability which requires 'special' treatment.

The simple idea that Black people are somehow 'different' from all other minorities in America is as racists as a person can be. And yet it is a fundamental part of the American Left's race based politics.

That’s because nowadays the proletariat have big screen TVs, smartphones, 401k’s and buy lattes at Starbucks. But, they’re still stupidly susceptible to political demagoguery and class envy. Racism accounts for one percent or less of the problems of blacks. The great majority of their problems are caused by themselves. Just like the problems of most non-blacks are caused by themselves.
 All people in power  know that but are too chickensh*t to admit it.

No question about that. The Dems are throwing Jews overboard to embrace Islam. This is certainly not a politically motivated move. Jews in America are much more wealthy, powerful, and politically active, than are the Mecca Worshippers. The last stat I read on the subject said that Mecca Worshippers are 2% of the American population and they are much less likely to vote than Jews are.

The current surge of antisemitism in the Democrat Party is based on the traditional nature of Leftism, which has traditionally and historically always been antisemitic. It has to be this. Because as a straight political tactic, dumping Jews for Mecca Worshippers makes absolutely no sense at all.

It's one of if not the oldest trick in the leftist playbook. No matter how great things are, paint the world as a desperate struggle for survival for all their little pet identity groups.

Hell yeah it is, at least where large numbers of Blacks, Hispanics and 'woke' liberals are and it's all aimed at Whites, especially Conservative Whites and God help them if they are financially successful.
