Dems obsess over finding candidate to beat Trump
By Amie Parnes - 04/21/19 12:20 PM EDT

Democrats obsessed with finding a candidate who can defeat President Trump are showing a willingness to give up their preferred candidates for the one they believe is the most electable.

It's an important trend that will leave many in the Democratic field touting their strengths in a potential general election — and could particularly be helpful to a candidate such as former Vice President Biden, who is expected to put electability at the center of his campaign push when he enters the race next week.

A Monmouth University poll in February found that 56 percent of those surveyed preferred electability in a candidate while 33 percent said they’d prefer a candidate who echoed their beliefs.

A Quinnipiac poll released late last month also showed that age, race, and gender “take a back seat” to electability.

The electability factor is “being driven by this intense dislike of Trump,” said Celinda Lake, the prominent Democratic pollster who has researched the shift among voters.

Just beware, though: John Kerry was chosen in the same manner, too... hence why it ended up not being Howard Dean. Kerry still lost.

(Though I don't think George W. Bush was yet as hated as Trump has always been.)

They were calling W a "Chimp" pretty much since he was Governor of Texas.

There is only one Democommie that has a remote chance against Trump, HR Clinton.  She proved she could get more votes, she just needs to focus on a metric that matters for election, the only metric, the Electoral College.

She runs and spends 80% of her campaign time in WI, MI, OH, PA and FL, she has a shot at winning.  The FED will continue to do their part to slow the economy, and she has a fighting chance.  The rest, including Biden and Sanders, are members of the clown car and would not get to first base.

Not sure how you figure she's in good enough health to even campaign.  Secondly, she's lost twice.  Do you really think they want to risk losing a third time?  They've got so many younger candidates that represent the new DEM party that will appeal to the millennial and minorities. She may agree to be someone's VP, but I just don't see her trying for POTUS again.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Forget it. The poster insists she's a multibillionaire, which simply isn't even close to being true.
