A leader of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria Khurasan (ISIS-K) identified as Abu Haidar and his seven fighters were killed during a clash with the Afghan forces in Nangarhar province.

The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military said Friday that the clash took place in the vicinity of Deh Bala district last week.

According to a statement released by 201st Silab Corps, ISIS Khurasan militants launched an attack on security check posts of the Afghan Local Police forces on 13th of April, using light and heavy weapons including rocket launchers.

ISIS-K is a new offshoot of ISIS. Let's hope this is the end. Probably not but maybe it dents their presence. We usually just get the sad news of Afghanistan and not news of the victories.  The truth is, the more you kill them and beat them back, often, the more they will come back. Young men (mostly) from everywhere.
