Conservatives have so many policy disagreements with progressives that it’s hard to keep track of them all. However, they all stem from three fundamental errors—the meta-errors of progressives and progressivism.

These are: an unjustified faith in government competence, an irrational belief in the power of human will, and what I call “the tyranny of good intentions.”

I can see those meta-errors in some people.  They're easy to spot:  They are impervious to logical arguments, and love to call everybody else "paranoid" for not believing them about the government competence thing.  I used to chalk that up to youthful inexperience but maturity is not bringing cognizance.

Then they repeat the same leftist talking points.  Insanity, parroting the same points over and over again while expecting different results.

I stand with the Founders:  They did not trust government.  When the government is misused as a tool to tread on rights, I refuse to comply.

Meta, Jeta, Beta; is blather confusing what is direct and simple.
Around 1715, the French Enlightenment arose to first challenge,
then reject the traditional impulses and sentiments of Man
which were the basis for the moral order that governed his
behavior; anchored by the Natural Law and having been in place
for thousands of years earlier.
In it's place, revolutionaries such as Rousseau promoted rationalism
whose most obvious characteristic was materialism, as the new way
of thinking that would transform Man and by extension, culture/society.
Indeed we have paid dearly for that transformation, as a brief
assessment of all the man-made horrors that have occurred since
1715 stand out in mute testament.

Perhaps Fish, but remember Islam attempted to conquer Europe many  times:
* France in the 8th century/ Martel @ Tours
* Crusades in the 11th century
* Spain in the 15th century / Ferdinand & Isabella
* Italy in the 16th century/ @ Lepanto in 1571
* Austria in the 17th century / @ Vienna in 1683
and failed every time!!!!!
