White House to screen controversial anti-abortion film
NY Post, Apr 11, 2019

The Trump administration will be screening an anti-abortion film at the White House on Friday, according to reports.

The 2018 indie flick — “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer” — is based on the true story of Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, who is serving a life sentence for the murder of three babies that were born alive at his clinic.

The movie stars Earl Billings from “What’s Happening!!” and Dean Cain from “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.”

“It’s a compelling story,” a senior White House official told Politico on Thursday.

The official said roughly 150 guests would be attending the screening. President Trump, however, is not expected to be there.

“This is a really important film,” explained Kristie Hamrick, spokeswoman for the anti-abortion group Students of Life for America, which will have members in attendance on Friday.

“The White House’s willingness to give it a voice is very powerful,” she said.
