'Unplanned' is now in theaters across the country, except in DC

While moviegoers and film critics had their eyes trained on “Dumbo” and “Hotel Mumbai,” another highly anticipated movie was released last weekend. “Unplanned,” which has been in theaters since last Friday, tells the true story of Abby Johnson, a Planned Parenthood clinic director who later became an advocate for the unborn.

To many people’s surprise, the movie is a hit. During its opening weekend, “Unplanned” brought in over $6 million and scored as the No. 5 movie in the box office, drawing more than what “Captain Marvel” has made on average per theater thus far.

Despite the film’s success, “Unplanned” has only been shown in about 1,000 theaters nationwide during opening weekend, none of which happen to be in Washington, D.C.

Absolutely amazing movie. Democrats should be forced to watch it.

Had to sit through 23 minutes of ads before the movie finally started.  It was worth the wait.  No bias.  Just facts.

I read an account of people being told by the movie theater ticket clerk the "Unplanned" showing was sold out. Someone who overheard the conversation already had a ticket and went into the theater - where only about 25 people were gathered to see the movie.

For those who don't know:

1) Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow.com co-produced this film. He invested one million dollars of the film’s $6 million production budget. He also had a cameo role in the movie, playing the Crane Operator bulldozing the sign in front of Abby Johnson’s Planned Parenthood facility.

2) In limited release, the film has already made $12.5 million ( double the money of $6 Million it cost to make the film ).

I thought that was Mike Lindell, but wasn't sure.
I can't say it enough, this is a GREAT MOVIE. there are two scenes that I would qualify as graphic, but is still a GREAT MOVIE!
