Students Who Support Socialism, Wouldn’t … if Their Property Were Being Redistributed
Posted by: Neetu Chandak in Featured News, Syndicated Posts, Trending Commentary, US News March 29, 2019

Several University students supported socialism when initially asked, but the response changed drastically when they were asked if the fruits of their hard work at school should become the property of the people.
Campus Reform, in a recent video, asked Florida International University students their views on socialism, and some said they prefer socialism over capitalism.

Which is what I expected.  Maybe there is hope for the future after all.  When these students have to grow up and pay the socialism bill.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Last week my son and I did his taxes. He's always had to pay. However, this year he got a refund. He asked me, "how did this happen?"

I responded, "Trump's tax cut".

Without missing a beat, he said, "best President ever!"

I've suffered through his college years listening to the leftist crap. Now that he's been working for a couple years his eyes are finally starting to open. I thank the LORD.

I read a story about the kids sharing grades. They all said NOOO!

Surely at sometime these kids will "get it".

A refund just means you gave the government an interest-free loan.

My son came out of it too thankfully.

This doesn't surprise me in the least. I had an economics professor many winters ago who said young people want all these government programs until they go out and work and finds out who really pays for them.

It's not unusual for young people to be idealistic.
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

It’s ingrained in us to seek self interest first. The students have been taught that “other people” will pay for their ideas. It’s when they find out they themselves are the “other people” their value systems change

I'd argue their value systems don't change at all.

They want to be the ones that benefit, no one wants to be the ones that pay.

The only ones that do are those who are already extremely rich, for whom taxes are a manageable price to pay to keep competition out.

Way to take a great moment and make it a bummer.

The point was he's finally starting to see how the leftist garbage affects his pocket.
