Anyone who looked at the damage done to the Pentagon with a fully loaded aircraft, would probably be able to figure out there isn't much can be put in the average car that will do much beyond scratch the paint on that building. Even a semi load of explosives would not 'blow up the Pentagon'. As for getting close enough to the POTUS to inflict harm, that comes into serious question, also.
