The current occupant of the White House and his DOJ are too incompetent to address this corruption.

Smollett's actions could easily have resulted in scores of people dying because of his hate crime.  I believe he should be charged for every hour expended by the CPD for investigating this, and he should be indicted by the Feds and sentenced to a maximum sentence.

Down right laughable that Obama and her chief of staff influences state authorities, and they just drop the indictments, all 16 of them!  Meanwhile, the federal DOJ stands by and does nothing.  Just watch.  Useless!

O bama wanted the FBI to investigate.  Why?  Because the FBI is clearly owned by the corrupt Obamas.  The FBI needs to be disbanded.  It has never been a noble organization.  J Edgar Hoover was a rotten, corrupt b*st*rd, and it apparently is a very political agency.  Fire everyone at the FBI, and role their responsibilities into Homeland Security.  Too many damn agencies anyway.

If Trump were worth a BM, he would eliminate half the agencies that do less than nothing all day, starting with the FBI.

Well, I did see a presser with the police chief and while he tried to maintain composure, anyone could see he was one very unhappy camper.  I'm surprised even Rahm Emanuel was unhappy with the decision to drop the case. 

While some of this federal investigation the police are seeking has to do with the bogus attack on Smollett, it seems they also want an investigation into an alleged hate letter Smollett claimed to have received shortly before his supposed attack.  Perhaps if Smollett can get away with his bogus attack, the feds might get him on the fake letter.  Mail fraud is a federal offense and I doubt Smollett's friend or friends with influence can get him out of a federal charge.

Yes, the FBI declined comment on whether they would pursue federal charges.

I looked up, not only did Smollett fake and send the threatening letter to himself but there was powder in the letter.  White powder, so one might worry about anthrax or something.

Maybe it was a different letter, I wouldn't think one would be able to "spoof" one's own workplace with something that looks like it could be poison....
