Three months into his new job, Staten Island/Brooklyn Congressman Max Rose is spoiling for a fight.

“Here is a formal invitation to anyone who considers themselves a socialist anywhere in New York, or any Justice Democrat,” said the Democrat repping the city’s only swing district, calling out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the PAC that pushed her to power.

“A formal invitation to come primary me. We can settle this at the polls.”

The freshman lawmaker wrested his seat from Republican Dan Donovan in November, in a district that had gone for the GOP in every congressional election but one since 1981. He is one of the Republicans’ top House targets in 2020.
