Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D.-Mass.) explained at a townhall meeting sponsored by CNN in Jackson, Miss., on Monday night how God picks some people to go to heaven and others to go to another place.
She did this after she was asked by moderator Jake Tapper what role faith plays in her life.
After saying that she was raised a Methodist and used to teach Sunday school, Warren said: “The story for me is Matthew 26, and I'm sure some of you, a lot of you know this story. You know, this is the one where the shepherd is dividing the world into the sheep and the goats. And as we all know, sheep are going to heaven, goats, nah, they're not.â€
