The New Zealand Christchurch mosques shooter wrote in his "manifesto" that he became radicalized in 2017 after the April 7 terrorist attack in Stockholm where asylum seeker Rakhmat Akilov killed five people and injured fourteen others by running them over with a truck.
One of those killed was 11-year-old Ebba Akerland. Graphic pictures of her dead body split in half were shared on the internet in the aftermath of the attack.
In his manifesto, accused shooter Brenton Tarrant, 28, who described himself as "Just an ordinary White man" who had a "regular childhood, without any great issues" claimed he "dramatically changed" his views between April 2017 until the end of May 2017.
