I still disagree with people wearing their ceremonial dress in public office! Silly. Drummers?  I don't mind in your own home or village.   Get into 2019. Assimilate into our America.  Being pig headed is not a good trait. Funny how wealthy Indians are now, with private business' and CASINO'S... no one is wearing their headdress at those places.  SUITS.  FOXWOOD. Be proud at home!

Muslim Rep Gets “Calming Feeling” Thinking About Slaughter Of 6 Million Jews
Why is she allowed to get away with saying things like this? Why doesn’t someone question her?

Rashida Tlaib, the vulgar, trashy, hate-filled Rep from Michigan recently conducted an interview on Yahoo’s “Skullduggery” podcast. In it, she not only spread lies, she spoke about the “calming feeling” she gets when she thinks about the slaughter of six million innocent Jews in Europe.

“There’s always kind of a calming feeling, I tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports,” Tlaib said.

“And, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And, I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways, but they did it in a way that took their human dignity away and it was forced on them.”

Of course, Tlaib is claiming that critics are ‘twisting her words,’ but she is the one who twisted the truth.

So many lies, where to start?

First off, there were no “Palestinians.” The people living in the territory of Palestine during World War II and before were displaced Jordanians and others, including Jewish people who had been there for decades.

When the UN approved the creation of a Jewish state of Israel, the people living in Palestine, and the Jewish kibbutz already co-existing in the land did not welcome the change. They didn’t provide a “safe haven,” many of the most violent attack peaceful communities of Jewish farms who had been there since WWI.

Townhall reported:

Republican leaders were quick to slam Tlaib’s comments, and rightfully so.

“There is no justification for the twisted and disgusting comments made by Rashida Tlaib just days after the annual Day of Holocaust Remembrance. More than six million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust; there is nothing ‘calming’ about that fact,” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) said in a statement.

“Unfortunately, this is far from the first display of heinous anti-Semitic comments coming from Democrat House members this year, and it’s clear this is now the norm for their caucus. It’s long past time for Speaker Pelosi to take swift action and make it clear that these vile comments have no place in Congress,” he added.

House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY) called on Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) “to finally take action against Representative Tlaib and other members of the Democratic caucus who are spreading vile anti-Semitism.”

“All of us, regardless of party, must stand as Americans against the evil of anti-Semitism,” Cheney said. “If the Democratic leadership continues to stand by in silence, they are enabling the spread of evil. History teaches us that anti-Semitism begins with words and becomes something far worse. Speaker Pelosi and Leader Hoyer must act now.”

Breitbart added facts concerning Tlaib’s false historical claim:

In fact, Palestinian leaders — such as former Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Hajj Muhammad Amin Al-Husseini — collaborated openly with Hitler and the Nazis.

As the Jewish Virtual Library notes (original links):

During World War II, the mufti was involved in the mobilization of support for Germany among Muslims. In November 1941, the Mufti met with Hitler. Although he continued to be involved in politics, al-Husseini’s influence gradually declined after the defeat of the Arab armies in 1948.

Many Palestinian Arabs vigorously — and violently — opposed Jewish immigration into Palestine, both before and during the Second World War, when it was clear that Jews faced persecution (and worse) in Europe.

Moreover, according to historian Benny Morris, Palestinian Arab leadership actually rejected a “one-state solution” offered by the British prior to the Second World War because the British insisted that they accept 75,000 new Jewish immigrants. They wanted a full stop to Jewish immigration.

Though there are several dozen Muslims who are recognized as having helped save Jews, these heroic acts occurred in other countries.

After the Second World War, Palestinian Arabs continued to oppose Jewish immigration, and Palestinian Arab forces attacked the nascent State of Israel, joining armies from surrounding Arab countries in an effort to quash the Jewish state.

Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas wrote his Ph.D. thesis denying aspects of the Holocaust, and delivered a speech in 2018 in which he appeared to defend Nazi Germany’s decision to murder Jews.

But, somehow, to this democrat, that’s ‘safe haven?’

Give me a break.

Either Tlaib is grossly ignorant, or she is a deliberate liar. Probably both.
