Over 600 women made accusations of being sexually assaulted 2015 on New Year’s Eve in Cologne but only three sexual assailants were actually convicted.

According to “Der Spiegel” two of those sexual assailants got suspended sentences. The only reason these three were even able to be charged was because they had made selfies of themselves with their victims.

The prosecution investigated 290 suspects in total and pressed charges against 52 in 43 cases.
