 The topic being discussed is rape.  In reference to this alleged rape, you said that inevitable things will happen when the sexes are thrown together in the military.  When questioned if you meant that women can expect sexual abuse, you said yes.  The specific sexual abuse in this case is rape.  So yes, you did say just that.

If they have to be in close contact with men for extended periods of time in order to perform their jobs the answer is yes IMHO!  Just another of the many reasons they shouldn't be in combat roles in the first place.

Trying to understand here (truly) ... does this pertain to only military or to women in general who are in close contact with her male office colleagues should expect some sort of sexual assault??  That would go for those in Congress and anyone who works for a business with men.  What about female astronauts? Females on the police force?  Female doctors and nurses? So ... women shouldn't be in the work force unless they want to risk sexual assault?  When I worked I've had less than appropriate comments and suggestions made a couple of time and arms that I had to place elsewhere, but never sexual assault.  I guess I was naive enough to give the male population more credit then perhaps due?

I didn't make men and women. God did.  I recognize the natural order of things and tend to take them into account.

I just say PMT because I don't like the hashtag.  My used of PMT is the same thing as MT with a touch of sarcasm/skepticism.  My fault for not making that clear.

As for how this relates to  the Jr. Senator from AZ, my only pertinent observation in this thread is that it doesn't matter if I believe her, I'm just making the argument this revelation will be a net loss of votes for somebody who had two difficult elections to the House that she won, and a Senatorial election she lost.

Leftists still won't vote for her whether they believe her or not, and the conservatives just find this pandering another reason to not vote for her.

I've worked with men all my adult life, and in some very close quarters/extended time period situations and have never experienced anything like that.  Additionally, Mom was active duty military in combat zones for over 20 years, and ditto.  We both got hit on occasionally, but not abused.
