If climate change explains everything, it doesn't explain anything.
When it became apparent that there was no actual "global warming," that we've been having some horrendously
cold weather, as a matter of fact, they changed their tune. Now, according to them, it's the
extremes in temperatures - very cold, very hot, very windy, etc. - that are evidence of "climate change" (global warming terminology having been discarded). None of this establishes that human activity had one bit of influence on the climate, mind you, but it's what keeps the true believers going.
If man-made climate change is causing temperature extremes, you'd think the highest and lowest temperatures would be happening now. According to my local TV weatherman, however, sometimes the coldest or hottest date on record is over 100 years ago.
