Memorable Movie Moments - Favorites

jafo2010:
As a lover of movies, boiling it down to five movies would be near impossible.

At the top of my list, Spartacus, my all time favorite movie.

And in no order, the following:

Ben Hur

Forest Gump

My Fair Lady

and one of the following, for they are all great movies:

Bringing Up Baby

The Sound of Music

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (my youngest daughter's favorite movie.  Watched it 100s of
                                                       times with her)

Planes, Trains and Automobiles  (watched it last night.  Laugh riot.  My work life was similar to
the role of Steve Martin.  Many years in airports, missed/late
                                                          flights, etc)

...and so many more great movies!

Forgive me .. this is not a movie clip.  It's a TV clip and is posted in honor of today --- William Shatner's 90th birthday.

In this spirit, I give you a best of Denny Crane moment:   :shotglass:

Great clip. I hadn't thought about it, and was surprised to see Shatner is 90. Good for him!

This exchange between Elizabeth and Lady Catherine was also great.  Their exquisite command of the English language is spectacular.

I also liked the scene where Elizabeth's father gives her the impossible option by telling her that if she doesn't marry Mr. Collins, her mother will never speak to her again, and that she does, he will never speak to her again.
