I know...but.... my question.... what CAN we do to stop the leftist creep in the US?   Most of us have done everything we can think of.... and none of it has amounted to a hill of beans thus far.... other than keeping Hillary out of the WH.  I'm not demeaning that major accomplishment, but we're still drifting left, nevertheless.  What can we dooooo????

You need true believers up in there, every bit as ready to stand as those liberal true believers they will be up against.

Republicans in congress are paralyzed for precisely this reason. That 'big tent' thinking guarantees there will always be a 'gang of eight' that will stop any forward momentum for Conservatism, even when Republicans own all the houses of government.

I don't think we can @XenaLee.  As someone on another thread noted: how many states have recently turned purple and are verging on turning blue vs. how many states are verging on turning red?  The answer of course is "a lot" and "none".   There is little to no movement in the R or conservative direction.
