One thing I've learned here. These Briefers who still maintain a viral dislike for Donald Trump . . .
That's just it. I don't have a viral dislike for Donald Trump. On the contrary, I actually like the man. I am amazed at his ability to deflect the usual political criticism and to overcome the loss of many friends and admirers simply because he left the Democrat plantation. On a personal level, I also greatly admire his unsung charity and compassion that very few even know about. But then Trump isn't the issue. Liberalism is. And when Trump chooses the liberal course, I will not remain silent. I have criticized Nixon, Reagan, and both Bushes for liberal positions. Trump is no different. I have also praised Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and both Bushes for Conservative positions. Again, Trump is no different.
They hang on to the Conservative label because they believe it gives them safe haven here.
That's hysterical. You really think I give a damn whether I am allowed to post here or not? If your "safe haven" claim had any merit, then I would be back at TOS swearing off any hint of being a Conservative before guzzling down a heaping pitcher of McCain-Noot-Trump Kool-Aid just so I could have "safe haven".
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAWhat an idiotic thing to say!
These Briefers are selfish narcissists. Too stupid to see that the entire country is split down the middle. Too stupid to see that in order to have any power or influence, you must first win an election.
Ah, back to the political argument. It's OK to sell out the country as long as you are able to seize political power. So tell us, DC. Now that you have that power and influence, why are you punishing us with $2 trillion annually of new debt? Why are you continuning to release illegals into this country as they await asylum hearings they will never show up for? Why aren't you prosecuting a single illegal for violating existing border laws? Why are you implementing trade policies that are causing reductions in exports? Because if this is what you do with power, we are no better off than we were with the last group.
I don't give a shit that Donald Trump isn't a Conservative thoroughbred.
That part is obvious.
Can you imagine the country today, if Hillary had won?
Can you imagine the country today if a Conservative had won? Three vacancies remain unfilled on the 9th Circuit - seats that could right now be critical in getting an emergency wall built. $4 trillion going directly to entitlements - many of which are being paid out to illegals - that could have been available as investment income for vast wealth creation instead. A retreat from federal involvement in our health care market beginning with the repeal of Obamacare followed by lifting the prohibition against interstate commerce instead of having ObamaCare stamped permanently into American society as we do now.
But then you have already stated your disdain for Conservatism. So you should be right at home with a leftist 9th Circuit, deficits greater than Obama's, and stifling federal over-regulation of the health care market.
